This Privacy Policy explains how LG Remote (the "App"), developed by Jeweality ("we", "us", "our"), handles information when you use the App. The App lets you discover, pair with, and control an LG webOS TV from your phone over your local Wi-Fi network.
We built this policy to be consistent with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, the Google Play User Data policy, and Google's AdMob program policies.
The App does not require you to create an account, and does not have any servers of our own that receive your personal data. Specifically:
To make the App work, a small amount of information is saved locally on your phone only, using Android's DataStore, and is never transmitted to us:
This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data. Long-pressing a saved TV in the App and choosing "Remove" deletes its pairing information immediately.
The App requests the following Android permissions solely to find and control your TV on your local Wi-Fi network:
None of these permissions are used to access the public internet on your behalf beyond talking to your own TV and loading ads as described below.
The App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. We use exactly two ad formats in this App:

| Interstitial ad | A single full-screen ad shown only the very first time you successfully connect to a TV. It is never shown again after that. |
We do not use rewarded, native, app-open, or any other ad format in this App.
To serve and measure these ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as your advertising identifier, device and app information, IP address, and general (non-precise) location inferred from your IP address, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Google may also share limited data with its advertising partners for measurement and fraud prevention. This processing is governed by:
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google requires publishers to obtain your consent before serving personalized ads, in accordance with Google's EU User Consent Policy. Where required, a consent prompt is shown before ads are personalized, and you may withdraw or change your consent at any time through the App's consent management options or your device's ad settings described above.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can exercise this choice using the same device-level and Google Ads Settings controls described in Section 4, or by contacting us using the details in Section 10.
The App is a general-audience utility for controlling a television and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it. This App has not been designated as directed to children under the Google Play Families Policy.
All communication between the App and your TV happens directly over your local Wi-Fi network and never passes through our servers, because we do not operate any. Data saved on your device (Section 2) is stored using Android's standard app-private storage, which is sandboxed from other apps by the operating system.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, in advertising technology, or in legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
